Rookie Big Board Fantasy Football Podcast

In this episode, Matt breaks down his projection for the 2021 Cincinnati Bengals offense.

He gives a quick review of Ja'Marr Chase's rookie profile, then finds a production comparison range for him using the last three years of rookie wideout data.

Matt then digs into how the Bengals may use Chase and what that means for fantasy football managers who have Chase, Tee Higgins, or Tyler Boyd rostered.

In this episode, Matt reacts to an immediate trend emerging in fantasy football ADP and drafts. Similar to years past, there is an overinflation of tier 2 running back value. Instead of reaching for Michael Carter and Trey Sermon, Matt suggests soaking up second-round wideout value. That will result in a need to nail your late-round running back dart throws.

Matt takes a look at what made recent UDFA and late-round NFL Draft picks like James Robinson, Austin Ekeler, and Phillip Lindsey successful. He then projects that out to find eight potential fits to be the next late-round fantasy football darling.

He breaks down Deon Jackson, Jaret Patterson, Kylin Hill, Khalil Herbert, Javian Hawkins, Demetric Felton and more.

In this episode, Matt talks about his post-NFL Draft fantasy football rookie rankings. Instead of reading down a list or hyper-focusing on a few talking points, he instead focuses on their tiers he has broken the players into after learning their new NFL team.

Matt highlights at least one player per tier, explains the difference between each tier and explains how those tiers affect the value of your fantasy football rookie picks. He also shares his take on Travis Etienne vs Javonte Williams and Trey Lance vs Justin Fields.
