This doesn't necessarily have to be a bad thing but it is something a lot of designers struggle to deal with. As creatives we take a lot of pride in the creative work we do and it's important not to let those feeling get in the way of the relationships with clients. However, sometimes a client isn't the best fit and you have to be willing to address that. At the same time, sometimes you just have to be a tool for your client.
