We have the privilege of having JP Dellacamera on the podcast. JP has been a large voice in American soccer broadcasting for decades. He's called games on the biggest stages. From the 1986 World Cup, to the infamous 1999 Women's World Cup, all the way up to 2022 in Qatar. JP got his start in soccer through an opportunity with the Pittsburgh Spirit of Major Indoor Soccer League. JP joined us on the podcast to talk about the glory days of indoor soccer in the 1980s.
We also dive into the current state of the Major Arena Soccer League, of which JP serves as the President of Communications/Media for the league. Then I couldn't help myself and had to ask a few World Cup questions...
The boys get together to discuss Villa, Brighton, Tottenham, and the prem as a whole. Then we give our top 5 Fullbacks before ranting. Plus, per usual, we verbally destroy Chelsea.
Mike, Jimmy, and Jake get together to talk Brighton, Villa, Tottenham, and Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. Enjoy!
Invited Mark Washo, Minority Owner and Chief Everything Officer at Flower City Union, onto the pod to talk about the club that went from idea in a briefcase to NISA champions in a few short years. After we talk Flower City, we take a look at Mark's unique Soccer journey. From having access to 1994 World Cup tickets through his job at Budget Rent-a-Car to DC United early days, to Washington Freedom's start in NWSL, and the lead up to the Flower City project. Fun listen!
The boyz get together after dark to discuss European competitions and the Premier League. Come join us.
The gents got together to talk about the end of the Bobcats season and Alex surprised us with a special guest from Flower City Union. It was great to have him on the show before they attempt to slay the big bods of Michigan Stars on the weekend. Then we finish up talking Bobcats for another half hour or so.
The boys get together to talk Brighton, Villa, and Tottenham. Then they give their top 5 wide players and Mike whines about his degenerate bad beat.
Jake was at the Locomotive game and Jimmethy and Mike got together to talk Villa and Spurs. Plus we talk the entire table and European competitions. Have fun.
The boys are back to talk about their beloved Brighton Seagulls, Tottenham Hotspur, and Aston Villa. This was recorded before Brighton got knocked out of the Carabao Cup by Chelsea and before Villa was knocked out by Everton so vibes were real high. Then yesterday happened. But screw Chelsea anyway!
Week 5 already? It's always surprising to me how quickly the season goes. The boys talk about the weekend performances from their squads, then Jimmy and Jake give their top 5 Strikers while Mike fails in his attempt to deliver a true #9 list.
We then get the Brad Tindall Memorial Stone Cold Pick-of-the-Week and the Pod Parlay of the week. Then we talk about Europe for the Villains and the Gulls.
Enjoy!
