Paul has told us that godly love is essential and the first thing he says to describe that kind of love is, “Love is patient.” In other words, love suffers long.

No one needs Jesus more than you or me. He is the only way to have fellowship with God. Hypocrisy engulfs everyone, no matter how moral, who claim that they can be godly or good without God’s Son.

Prayer isn’t always about making our problems go away or making our physical circumstances change. Sometimes prayer is simply about telling God that we trust Him.

As Christians, we don’t have any advantage in knowing when Christ will come back, so our gut reaction is often to simply reject the warnings of modern-day “prophets” who predict the end of the world and write-them off as conspiracy theorists. Paul warns that’s not enough.

I don’t think there is anything that can cause more tension or guilt in the Christian’s life than the lack of private time in prayer to God. How can we reignite our prayer lives so that they we are consistent again so that we have the strength that personal prayer offers?

No one plans to ruin their life, but it can happen. What should we do if we are past the prevention stage and now we’re just aiming for damage control. I’ve ruined my life. Now what?

Our God is not limited by what we understand. He is the Almighty Lord and His ways are higher than our ways.

Sometimes sin makes us feel good, at least for the moment. Why would we give that up?

Our God is One of forgiveness, but He does not want us to continue sinning so that grace may abound. Sin has consequences, and even after our forgiveness, we still feel that reality.

The Bible is a book of books that are unlike any others. When it says something, it means it. It’s not fiction and it’s not opinion. It is the absolute truth given to us by the Almighty God and we can't pick and choose what we will or will not accept from its pages.
