To be honest... chickens terrified me! Give me a 1000 lb animal any day over something that could peck me! BUT after working with these birds for a few years now, I have come to love them. I love having fresh eggs each morning. I love having meat in our freezer that we raised. I love the view of them scratching through the yard each morning as they dig for bugs.
