Lots going on this month in the cosmic sky! We are getting ready for a Gemini Full Moon which is the last full moon of 2022. I will be doing a solo episode on this Full Moon, but I do discuss what is at work with this full moon in this episode specifically how this Moon will be conjunct with the planet Mars who is retrograde in Gemini. This full moon takes place on December 7th at 11:08pm (EST). Gemini is ruled by the planet Mercury who will be moving into Capricorn on December 6th and will be slowing down as Mercury will be going retrograde on December 29th. Yes, during Christmas week we will have both Mars and Mercury retrograde. I discuss the significance of that event and give some tips on what will help to navigate the transits as well as a timeline/pattern of what Gemini and Capricorn have been like for us the last couple of years.

We finally have Neptune (planet of dreams/faith/illusion) going direct on December 3rd after being retrograde since June 28th. Neptune is in the sign of Pisces and has been travelling very close to Jupiter (planet of expansion/growth/optimism) who is currently in Pisces also. Jupiter will move back into Aries on December 20th. Jupiter was in Aries from May 10th through July 28th direct and then went retrograde in Aries and remained there until October 27th when it reentered Pisces. This is the timeline to review to get an idea of what Jupiter will be like for the remainder of this year as well as the 1st half of 2023 as Jupiter will be in Aries until May of 2023.

In this episode I also give a brief overview of some of the other planetary movements that take place this month with the Sun and Chiron. I speak to the importance of taking some time out and slowing down with Mars retrograde and Mercury slowing down to get ready for its retrograde.  I will be making recordings this month of the 2023 astrology as well as separate episodes for the December aspects.

In this short episode on this Thanksgiving holiday weekend, I discuss how the fire energy of Sagittarius will be at play this week as Mercury and Venus both in Sagittarius meet up with Mars who is retrograde in Gemini. I also discuss the second square that Mars has made to Neptune and how we have one more of these aspects to deal with next year. 

I discuss the significance of Jupiter going direct just after the New Moon in Sagittarius and the message that may be from the Universe. I also discuss the importance of keeping our throat chakra healthy at this time and some ways to be doing that that may work for you. This Mars retrograde in Gemini will be humming in the background as we kick off this holiday season and it will be important to keep that in mind as we progress through the end of this year.

So happy to have you here after the week of energy we are coming out of. We are done with eclipse season for the year.  And I am celebrating a 1-year anniversary or as I like to think of it a birthday for my podcast.  

If you are a Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, or Aquarius, you may have been feeling a tremendous amount of energy either surging through you or feeling weighed down by it. We are coming out of that energy phase and getting ready to literally flow into a new phase of energy that may help you feel lighter, hopeful, and more positive in particular areas of your life. Beginning on Saturday, Nov. 12 our personal planets of Sun, Venus, and Mercury, who are all travelling in Scorpio are going to be having Trines to Neptune and Jupiter in Pisces and sextiles to Pluto (the ruler of Scorpio). 

A Trine is when planets who share the same element, in this case, Scorpio and Pisces which are both water signs come together to bring supportive, positive energy to a situation or relationship. A Trine is known as the nature of Jupiter because of how beneficial the planets are interested in being with each other. Beginning on Sat, Nov. 12th we have a Trine between Mercury (communication) and Neptune (faith/creativity), Venus (relationships/connections) had this Trine with Neptune on Thurs., Nov. 10th, was there an ah-ha moment for you or a creative idea that seemed to appear out of nowhere? The Sun (our identity/true self) has it's Trine to Neptune on Monday, Nov. 14th.

Jupiter (expansion/growth) also in Pisces begins making Trines on Monday, Nov. 14th with the Moon (emotional self/needs). That is followed by Venus/Jupiter Trine on Tuesday, Nov. 15th, followed by Mercury/Jupiter Trine on Wed., Nov. 16th and the Sun finally making it's Trine to Jupiter on Sunday, Nov. 20th.

A Sextile is when planets who have complementary elements such as earth and water get together to provide us with energy that is cooperative, friendly, and harmonious. Pluto will be making sextiles beginning on Saturday, Nov. 13th with Venus where you may see or feel initiative in a situation, followed by Mercury having it's helpful conversation with Pluto on Monday, Nov. 14th and wrapping up with the Sun, Lord of Light, meeting with Pluto, Lord of the Underworld, on Friday, Nov. 18th (March 18th oddly enough was the last sextile between these two planets) which can bring creative changes that could involve others being supportive in some way.

In this episode I wrap up the week we are coming out of and tie it to what is coming up this week with the planets. These Trines and Sextiles are definitely an energy shift for the better especially for the fixed signs (Taurus, Leo, Scorpio, & Aquarius). I also discuss the planetary movements that will be taking place right after these Trines/Sextiles are completed.

And yes, I do begin this episode with a Happy Birthday/Anniversary to my Rooted in StarLight podcast which is celebrating it's one year anniversary. This episode 28 of season 2 brings a total of 46 episodes completed in this past year. I began this podcast just before the Lunar eclipse of November 2021 and am celebrating its 1st anniversary/birthday just after the Lunar eclipse of 2022. In this episode I discuss the recent Solar eclipse in Scorpio that just took place. I also discuss the Jupiter moving back into Pisces that takes place on Oct. 28th. This is the third and final trip of Jupiter in Pisces for now.  I also discuss Mars stationing retrograde in Gemini and beware that may feel like a Mercury retrograde.

I discuss how Mercury is the last planet to move into Scorpio this year and that takes place on Oct. 29th. This move ends the Trine season the Sun, Venus, and Mercury had with Saturn in Aquarius. And now the square between Saturn and Uranus is at its peak through the early part of November.

I end this episode with a look at the upcoming Full Moon Lunar eclipse taking place in Taurus on November 8th and who is planning to be at the table for that conversation.

As we get ready for the Fall eclipse season, we have the rulers of Scorpio, Pluto and Mars (ancient ruler) meeting up with both the Sun and Venus this week. In this short episode, I discuss what the trine, a fortunate aspect, to Mars may be like this week with the Sun which takes place Monday, Oct. 17th followed by the trine between Mars and Venus on Oct. 18th. I go back a bit and talk about the trines that the Sun and Venus had last week with Saturn as we are still in the energetic orb of those trines. A trine is known as "the nature of Jupiter" because it takes place with planets of the same element, in this case, the element of air. The element of air rules over our thought processes, ideas, communication, discernment, and expression to name a few. With Mars being in Gemini (mutable air) and the Sun and Venus both in Libra (cardinal air) we will have the support we may need to finish projects or have the opportunity to meet people who can be helpful to us in some way. 

Our mid-week energy is different as we will have Pluto, who just recently turned direct (Oct. 8th) make a square to the Sun on Wednesday, Oct. 19th followed by a Pluto-Venus square that takes place less than 24 hours after the Sun-Pluto square so in some time zones these aspects occur on the same day. Pluto is in Capricorn, a cardinal earth sign. A square tends to be an aspect that causes friction and planets in this aspect tend to be working at cross-purposes. With the Sun being the planet where we want to be seen and appreciated for who we are meeting up with Pluto, the planet that rules over power as well as all the is hidden this could be a tense couple of days depending on what you are working on, dealing with, or aiming for. Venus spent a lot of time in Capricorn with Pluto at the end of last year and beginning of this year so hopefully with Venus in her home sign of Libra she will be able to find a way to bring compromise to the conversation this week. 

One of the challenges that we have with this mid-week conversation is that the Moon will be in Leo, fixed fire and make a square to Uranus in Taurus, fixed earth and Uranus is the planet of surprise and revolution so this aspect could just add some extra energy to whatever situations or relationships are in the forefront of your mind.

We end the week with a Sun-Venus conjunction on Oct. 22nd in the sign of Libra as the last act the Sun and Venus do together in Libra before moving into Scorpio on Oct. 23rd. This conjunction will be a new cycle for Venus which she begins every 8 years. This conjunction gives us the opportunity to be our best and brightest as least for the day. The good news is that you will be feeling the energy of this conjunction before the 22nd so squeeze the last bit of opportunity for balance, creativity, and harmony you can as the week closes out.

Welcome to a new month that brings us closer to the end of the year. In this episode, I give an overview of what the Cosmos has planned for us in this month of October. This month brings us back to eclipse season taking place at the end of the month. I do discuss the Venus opposition to Jupiter that kicks this month off and the balance and harmony that Venus is going to want to bring to the table now that she is in her home sign of Libra as of September 29th.

I also discuss Mercury as he is getting ready to go direct in his home sign of Virgo which will take place on Oct. 2nd. And I discuss the final trine that Mercury in Virgo will make to Pluto (which is still retrograde) in Capricorn on October 6th. I give the dates of the previous trines that happened so you can have an idea of how this may be working out in your life. And on Oct. 8th Pluto will go direct motion in Capricorn. I discuss what other planet will be moving forward this month and how that may be helping you to feel a return of energy, ideas, and solutions to things that may have felt like they had hit a wall or slowed down to a crawl.

This is a short episode that gives the dates to follow on some potent and important aspects between the planets this month and there will be more to come in the following episodes for this month of October including a return to more online presence as we get closer to eclipse season.

We have a New Moon at 2 degrees of Libra this Sunday (Sept. 25th) at 5:55PM (DST). This Libra New Moon meets up with the Sun to reenforce the energies of balance, harmony, and peace especially within us as we prepare for planets to begin moving forward in a direct motion and as we welcome some harmonizing aspects this week to help kick off Libra season! In this episode I discuss the purpose of having this harmony within ourselves and understanding the importance of the way we are using our energy at this time. In this episode I discuss very briefly the way that the six (6) planets retrograde at this time may have been showing up in our life over these last couple months and how all this retrograde energy can be working with us even if we haven't felt that at times.

This Libra New Moon is ruled by Venus who is finishing up her last week in Virgo as she tidy's up last-minute details and prepares us for her move into her home sign of Libra on Sept 29th. In this episode I discuss how this week is important for our Venusian interests as Venus (planet of love, relationships, contracts) makes her final trine of this year to Pluto (planet of rebirth, hidden feelings or information, power). This energy will be felt from Sept. 25th through Sept. 27th. I also discuss the conjunction that will be taking place between Mercury retrograde (communication, commerce, travel) and Venus both in Virgo and how this may affect your current sphere of information and how processes in making things work out for your benefit. And discuss the trine that quickly follows between Mercury and Pluto both planets being retrograde and how that may help us with details that may have been overlooked or missed in these last couple months.

I also discuss the trine that is taking place between Mars in Gemini and Saturn in Aquarius and how this trine will be with us for the next few months and the benefits that may take place with this trine between the planet of action (Mars) and the planet of structure (Saturn). 

I wrap up this episode with a reminder of the humming of the tense square between Saturn Rx in Aquarius and Uranus Rx in Taurus building throughout this week and leading us into October. I review what the dates of the exact squares of these two planets were last year to help give context to how this may play out in your current life spheres at this time.

Welcome to the Full Harvest Moon of September which will be in Pisces on Sept. 10th! Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac so this full moon will have the themes of letting go and releasing as well as healing and connecting to your deepest self. In this episode I discuss the upcoming Pisces Full Moon as well as the aspects that involve the Sun taking place during this first weekend in September!  We begin with a Trine, which is when planets are in signs of the same element and beginning on Sept. 8th, we have the Sun in Virgo (Earth) making a trine with the North Node in Taurus (Earth) and this feels like a chance for some resolution or resources of some kind being available now where you may have been feeling some kind of restriction or blockage over the summer. This Sun/North Node trine will be in effect right up until the Full Moon on Saturday, the 10th. And right after this exact trine we will than experience an exact Trine with the Sun and Uranus (also in Taurus). This aspect could bring a surprise or something unexpected but again with these planets both being in Earth signs it can be something that could help out in the long run even if it does not feel that way initially.

We also have Mercury retrograde on Friday, Sept 9th, in the sign of Libra (balance/fairness). This retrograde begins in Libra and then on Sept 23rd Mercury will move back into its home sign of Virgo to finish out his retrograde motion. In this episode I discuss what to expect while we have Mercury retrograde in Libra. 

I also discuss what the cosmic energy is like at this time with so many planets (Jupiter, Chiron, Saturn, Pluto, Neptune, Uranus, Mercury, and Mars has just moved into its shadow period in Gemini as of Sept. 4th) being retrograde and how that can work for us in our goals and relationships. 

I also spend time in this episode discussing Venus in Virgo (which is where she is placed in my natal chart) and what her energy would like us to do over these next few weeks.
