Words really are powerful and they have the potential to hurt others. As Christ followers, we are called to build people up with our words. We need to plant kindness, selflessness, and humility so that we can grow a positive view of others (as people loved and made in God's image!) and speak to them in a loving way.

We all get in arguments. Some of us may even be masters at winning them. But it's never good if you win an argument but you lose the relationship with the person you were arguing with. The argument may last for a season, but the relationship could last way longer.

God provides us with a Church family who can spur us on to be better. Today we talk about the story of David and Johnathan and the friendship that became more like family.

Family change is the hardest change. But it doesn't always have to be difficult. Your mindset and how you view the change matters. It's important to look at the bigger picture.
