Roped Off

Legendary Trainer Buddy McGirt talks all things boxing with Terry and Martin.

We cover the upcoming bout for his man Sergey Kovalev against Anthony Yarde, his days training Arturo Gatti, working with Isaac Chilemba and Paul Smith, the times in the gym with Naz and Bruno as well as his time as a world title winning fighter. Some beautiful stories of boxing bygones as well as what it's like to be in the sport now.

Buddy gets the ultimate honour of being inducted to the International Boxing Hall of Fame in June, so hear some of his stories now.

We're back! And with a BANG!

No pod would be the same if we weren't slagging someone off, so Terry goes full guns at.......well, you'll hear. That's TERRY, not endorsed by Andi or Martin!

Anyway, we talk Khan, AJ v Miller and catch up with all the boxing we've missed in this bumper episode.. 60/40 forever..

In our last pod before a one week hiatus as Martin & Andi go on a stag do, the pod is chock full of boxing gumph!

We have all the cards from Saturday night to get through, we have Selby in Mexico and both the announced Fury and Wilder fights have been announced.

That's right, after the amazing fight in LA, Fury has BRAVELY elected to fight the FEARED Tom Schwarz: SO FEARED that NO-ONE has even mentioned his name in regard to credible opponents in the heavyweight division in recent years through fear that he may appear out of fat air and lay one of his boobs on your head.

Meanwhile, Wilder has sought to show the world that he doesn't want to fight a bum! But he will fight a bloke who fights like a bum and also didn't manage to climb off his bum when he got in the ring with Joshua, because after AJ beat Breazeale, THE WORLD asked "Who else can beat Breazeale?" and so we waited...

Anyway, yeah, those fights are a load of shit, but the fights we review are not, enjoy!

Back on track the band are back together.

Hammering the massive stinking turd DAZN show, but have we sniffed out Eddie's masterplan?

We dissect, in minute detail, Spence Jr's systematic picking apart of Garcia and talk where they both go next.

Finally we discuss York Hall and Linus 'the Legend' Udofia's final English title eliminator win to put him in mandatory position for his very first title.

Oh and our most sincere apologies to..............wait, yeah, I forgot, we DGAF.

For the first time this year, it's just Andi & Terry, whilst Martin has child duty.

Unlike last week, we have an agenda to go off and Terry is on good form, giving you the lowdown on all the weekends action!

Covering all the weekend's events, from the Warren Show to the DAZN card, we deliver you weekly dose of boxing catch up.

Kicking off with a brief summary of our thoughts on the previous week, we then get right into it.

Typical week then? Really? Oh, well you'll just have to listen for yourself. Listen, enjoy, engage and? Love, always love...

(unless you've got yourself muted)

I'll be honest, this pod went on far too long and it's now almost 11:30 at night and I have to be up for work at 5 so, if you were wanting additional content by way of a synopsis here, I can't be bothered to write one. You might say "well, you could have written it instead of writing all this drivel" to which I'd say that our pod is 90% drivel so it's fitting.

Enjoy!

Quick check in with you lovely people, in spite of the fact nothing has happened..

Give us some questions please!

In a less energetic pod than usual, the team plod along and finally make the point, eventually..

More rambling and long winded than a Terry story, the pod waffles on.

We hit 2019 with an uppercut from hell as Terry rants, Martin flags at the end and we talk orangutans and AJ!
