The Champion Golfer of 2014, Rory McIIroy is one of the finest golfers in modern history, and has a strong relationship with golf's original major. McIlroy is the last winner at this year's upcoming venue, Royal Liverpool, and will have good memories to lean on in his bid for a second Claret Jug.

Speaking exclusively to The Open, prior to his close call at The 150th Open last year at St Andrews, Rory recalls his first memories of The Open, his first appearance at Carnoustie in 2007 and his famous win in 2014.
