Tusla have launched a nationwide campaign seeking foster caring families for children. Currently over 350 Roscommon famitles are fostering children in the county. Eva Beirne is a Social Worker with Tusla and she spoke to Seamus Duke on the Good Morning Roscommon programme about the  campaign and what's involved.

The community in Creggs held a meeting recently at which several issues were discussed in terms of the future development of the village including a sewerage scheme,  the development of walkways and cycleways and other issues.

On the Good Morning Roscommon programme Seamus Duke spoke to Ger Dowd the principal of Creggs National School about the meeting and the plans.

The National Council of the Blind of Ireland are holding a big fund-raiser in March when they will ask people to exercise for 30 minutes every day for 30 days.

The Garda Siochana are celebrating their 100th anniversary in 2022 and one of the people credited with the modernisation of the force over the past 35 years is Jack Marrinan.

Tim Doyle has written a book about the role Jack Marrinan has played in the formation of the modern Garda force called The Changing of the Guard.
