As I have become more protective of my energy, I've begun recording my thoughts on my iPhone - audible journaling. To that end, on Monday, January 20, 2025 - a very significant day, I indulged. This morning, I decided to share my audible journal with you. Please note: It starts off a bit incomprehensible, but as it continues, you will catch the flow. As I began talking, my words seemingly flowed a bit poetically.
Further, I shared on this day that I am happy because I recognize that I am on my way. On inauguration day, I celebrate the fact that my life matters by recording my belief in perception. For many, life is challenging on unimaginable fronts, yet, I must believe that now is the time to adjust one's outlook and perception in order to experience joy. Go within, analyze your life, focus on what really matters, with the understanding that each moment matters, to include the joys and pains of life. You are here and each day is an opportunity to choose who you will be despite what is happening in our country and reality. Each day is an opportunity to make yourself a priority and change the dynamics of said reality. As for me, at last, I’ve made myself a priority. I take nothing personally. I enjoy my private parties (thank you, India Arie), as I tell myself my truths. Again, and as India Arie says, it’s ALL about perception. In this episode, I share my affirmations and I ask you to share yours too....even if its only inside of your own private party.
Note 1: My A Team consists of my daughter, son and grandson.
Note 2: I used to be an avid reader as a lonely child and teenager stuck in the house ALL summer with no one making plans for me. I had a father who invested his time and dime in others, as he traveled the world living his best life, and a mother who could barely afford to feed me. As such, I read for entertainment. While as an adult I never stopped reading, the voracious reader in me took second place to life's happenings. However, in my private parties, reading and visits to the library - a place that excites me, are once again a priority, as I prioritize ME. Mari
