This is part 3 of our Advent Series. Today's theme is Joy. Christ brought the joy of heaven to earth, the angelic hosts had great joy And they shared it with mortal men. Before the Lord's 1st Advent people could not really embrace the joy of the Lord. He brought it and he left it with us through the Holy Spirit. You have the joy of the Lord in you as a Believer. No idea need can take it from you, but you can let others take your joy from you. Rejoice for the Messiah has come and will do so again!!

John 3:16 explains what was really behind the 1st advent of Jesus. It was the Father's Love for us. No greater gift was ever given not will ever be given.

In celebration of the Advent season this is week #1 of the Advent series. "Hope" was spoken in the ears of the O.T. prophets by the Spirit of God that the Messiah would someday come. They related his names, his birthplace, his lineage, hope was needed and God the Father used a virgin girl to deliver it. We have hope in Christ today and we have hope for a glorious eternity with him.

Since the Abrahamic Covenant to modern day Kings and kingdoms have tried to destroy God's chosen people Israel. They have, they are now and they will always be wasting time, because God's covenant with Abraham won't be broken.

The idea of Angels being real entities is an intriguing proposition to some. For the Christian we know they are real, because God's word speaks of them so much. This message is part 1 of Angels-Gods agents. Listen as Pastor Jim offers points of these creatures existence in the heavens and on the earth.

There is still Power in the Blood. When his life blood ebbed away, he declared, It is finished.” He was exactly right – He had fulfilled the role of the substitutionary element whose life blood covered our sins forever. He was exactly right - The law of the Levites was no longer needed because he made us sinners perfect before his Father. It ceased, the shadow of the Old Testatement Law and Sacrifice was now overshadowed by the power of Christs Blood and by Christ’s and Calvaries Cross. The Blood will never lose it’s Power. There is still and will always be Power in the pure Blood of the Savior.

Adhering to the Word of God, preaching, teaching the glory that comes through repentance and we must proclaim God’s truth and the Gospel and warn people of the consequences of their sins and ways. And violence filled the land, but the buck stops here in.

The American Soldier has preserved our precious freedoms since the Revolution. Each one was a special individual, they were not just a number, they were a person with a life and a soul. Almost 1.5 million have given their lives for us. Over 42 million have served our nation over our history. Like your freedom? Thank God and every veteran that you meet. Jesus gave his life so that we might live free spiritually and eternally. As Christians we are fortunate that this is so.

The church that Christ envisioned was born on the Day of Pentecost. The Holy Spirit came upon and dealt within the disciples. They spoke in an angelic toungue that every person heard what they said in their native language. Peter preached his first sermon and 3000 souls came to salvation that day. When Christians let the Holy Spirit guide their lives, we are hearing Jesus say "Remember Me" when I promised you the Comforter would come.

Sometimes Christians can worry too much about what other Believers are doing or not doing. Peter was an example of this.
