This morning we start our Advent series: A Joyful Hope. Pastor Austin brings us his message entitled "The Light Has Come". Before the Messiah was given a name and his identity revealed, the people of God were waiting for the promised king through whom God would rescue his people. Breadcrumbs were provided through the prophets to prepare the people to know him when they saw him, and one of the symbols used by both Old and New Testament authors was light.

Pastor Austin began his new series this morning called Weary. Spiritual disciplines are means of God doing what only God can do. They are a form of recovery work for our souls to move from where we are to a life of peace with Jesus.

Pastor Austin brings us his message of grace from Lamentations chapter 5. The testimony of God through the hardships of Jeremiah and God’s people in Lamentation is that pain and difficulty will come, and when it does we should lament and not remain silent before the Lord.
