The Worshipful company of Glass-Sellers of London received its Charter from King Charles II in 1664 and was originally set incorporated, as were the other "ancient" guild/companies, to maintain the quality of products being manufactured, imported and used in Britain. The McIntyre Mini Globe Race is one of the most audacious solo around-the-world challenges ever conceived. The race covers 28,000 miles and is limited to 20 entrants from around the world. It should take around a year to complete. Rotarian Jasmine Harrison is a double World Record holder, having been the youngest woman to row the Atlantic solo, and the only woman to swim the full length of the British Isles and is now participating in the race. RRUK's reporter Brian Portway caught up with her in Cape Town.
