Abandoned by his birth mother, David Berkowitz grew up as the son of adoptive parents Pearl and Nathan Berkowitz.

At the age of twenty, after confronting his biological mother and finding out the details of his birth, David spirals down a pit of hatred and rage against his absent parental figures and then, in turn, decides to take vengeance against the world that hurt and rejected him.

He felt lonely and isolated, and his mind, which was supposed to be the place where he truly belonged, turned out to be a venom and hatred-filled pit of despair.

On the 19th of May, 1977, Colleen J. Stan embarked on a hitchhiking journey across the country with the intent of surprising her friend for her birthday party in Northern California. However, fate had something else planned for her. As she travelled, a series of unexpected events unfolded for her. Colleen never ended up making it to the party. The only people aware of her plan were her family and roommates. But she wouldn't be back home, and that was not until seven years later. What had happened to Colleen Stan? Krystal Surles ran outside and saw a light in the far distance and ran desperately towards it. 

She quickly made her way onto the road and walked the quarter mile toward the light and only one thought was running through her head and that was to get to the house.

As soon as she reached the house, she started banging on the door frantically.

Suddenly from inside the house, she heard a man's voice enquiring who it was. Krystal tried to talk but no sound came from her mouth, she had no choice but to keep banging on the door.

When the man finally opened the door, he saw a young girl drenched in blood, holding onto her neck.
