  • Roughly Speaking #01 - What You Aim At
Welcome to a new series of the podcast - The general idea is to share some ideas I have been reading and thinking about recently which I want to share and delve into quickly with short episodes you can listen to in a few minutes.
Remember that what you do not yet know is more important than what you already know - JP
They understand that you can’t make a great decision without swimming for a while in a state of “not knowing.” That is because what exists within the area of “not knowing” is so much greater and more exciting than anything any one of us know.
According to Jordan Peterson, When all of the basic human needs have been satisfied such as hunger, hydration and warmth, this allows our minds to wander in curiosity because we know we are in a safe place. We don’t need anything fulfilled in the moment. This is why you might find yourself sat up late watching youtube videos about ancient Egypt or addressing your inclination to research psychedelics, or maybe it’s something less exciting than these examples but it’s still a bizarre choice of topic for you to consume in comparison to what you generally watch.
