If there is 1 person at the center of the debt ceiling circus - that person would be Republican House Speaker John Boehner.  Rather than "lead" and handle this matter as befits a great nation - he is content to merely follow his rabidly delusional wing of the GOP, i.e., Tea Party adherents - and drag this nation into a hystrionic soap-opera over whether or not this country will indeed honor its already-incurred financial debts.  What a lunatic "at-large".

The GOP is not fit to govern.  If they can't EVEN prevent the tax rates for those making under $250,000/year (families) or - alternatively - under $400,000/year (families) - then whose interests do they REALLY represent?  The Rich + Powerful.

 

And concurrently, if the GOP continues to thwart the re-enactment of the 1994 Assault Weapon Ban - then their "Family Values" mantra is nothing but a total SHAM!

We have come to that "proverbial" Fork In The Road - with the Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre wherein 27 people were kiled by 1, lone deranged - GUNMAN (20 of those killed were 7 years of AGE or YOUNGER!)

 

It's time to take that  "FORK" - we KNOW what NEEDS TO BE DONE!

Are we entering the land of "Kabuki" wherein attempting to deal with the GOP is like a giant "Kabuki" Dance - given their enslavement by the TEA PARTY!
