Round One In Tent City

Listen Later

No Darcy, No Tabs, no Fyfe….. but in the words of the great Alf Stewart, we can still ‘Stone The Flamin Crows’. It’s time to Restump preview Podcast round one and pray for a forward showing in the city of churches!

A new season brings new purple hopes and aspirations. We need to make good use of our first five rounds at least if we want to see finals, starting at Adelaide Oval Sunday.

We look at the lineups, the potential keys to the game. In the absence of Sean Darcy, Can Lloyd “Braun” Meek break even with Windscreens O’Brien?

Is Cyclone Treacy ready to storm the Crows' defenders? Has the Tucker Truck got the food fuel reserves to come in without either of the preseason games under his belt and can Freddy continue generating scoring shots?

Without Tabs, Darcy and Fyfe, Rory Lobb just has to be the man that stands up. We need a performance from Lobb that we know he can deliver!

The Chief takes an undeserved swipe at the great Bob Murphy and then brings us home with a pitch to get Angus Brayshaw into the purple.

Jojo McDonnell had a bit to do with Liam Henry on his journey to the AFL and now he will see another youngster, Gus Sheldrick, who he had a hand in coaching, make his debut for the Swannies. So we wish Gus all the very best.

Round one against the Crows on Sunday funday… we can’t wait! Meanwhile to pass the time quicker, click play and join the hype!
