Russia’s Covid-19 vaccine Sputnik is on the move to Eastern European countries. Why is the queue for Western vaccines so long? Are both China and Russia providing vaccines in Eastern Europe to win influence in the region?

Countries like Greece, where tourism accounts for one fifth of the national economy, have plans in place to get business going again.

In the UK it was at first ruled out; but the idea has now re-surfaced.
