Prince Andrew is facing mounting calls for a full criminal investigation after the release of all three million Epstein files, with fresh allegations he abused his role as UK trade envoy to leak sensitive information. On Talk, Kevin O’Sullivan speaks to royal author Andrew Lownie, who says the evidence has been “in plain sight for years” and questions why police have yet to act.
Lownie argues the scandal now threatens the wider Royal Family, warning it has been “handled very badly” and suggesting senior figures may have helped protect the ex Duke of York. He says Parliament, the CPS and police must examine not only the Epstein links but Andrew’s financial dealings, overseas trade trips and the role of officials who enabled them.
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor denies any claim of wrongdoing.
