Some names are given because they're trendy or cool. Other names are given out of fondness for a family member or family name. While there is only one God in the Bible, God has different names with different meanings. As we look at some different names of God, we will see that, regardless of the meaning, there is Power in the Name! Join us as we look at the name Yahweh Shalom, which basically means, "The God who brings peace: to remind us that, when we want real peace in our life, we can find it in Him.

The Bible makes it clear - God created everything! God sat back and assessed His work each day of creation and said, "It is good!" So, what happened? Join us as we address why the world is broken with a message from Pastor Dave who will unpack the fact that sin is the cause of this broken world. We'll answer questions like: if sin is wrong and it has broken everything then why do we continue to sin; why does God allow it; and how should we live in this sin-broken world? We'll focus on God's grace, be reminded that this world is temporary, and that we are empowered to reach out with the same love that God has given us.

The Bible has been trusted for centuries as the Word of God. It's been the most tested, most debated and most attacked book in the history. The question over the years has been, is the Bible true? As we're continuing the sermon series, Faith 101, Pastor Mark preaches on how we can trust the Bible.

People want to know why they're here on this earth. they want to know if there's a purpose or reason for their existence. As we continue in the series "Faith 101", we will look at several truths from God's Word that address why we exist. We will also examine several implications that, when known and understood, can have a great impact on a person's life.

When the angels appear to the shepherds in Luke 2, they say the birth of Jesus would bring exceedingly abundant joy. It sounds like supernatural joy. And that kind of joy is for the whole world. As winter blankets the world in its lack of warmth and light, the color GREEN becomes a beacon of hope and renewal. Whether in the steadfast leaves of evergreens or the faint buds of new growth, green reminds us of God's promise of life even in the darkest seasons. Even when we fail to sense forgiveness, goodness, or salvation, God assures us of His abiding presence and the life we find in Him through Jesus Christ. Resting in the promise of God's grace and abundant life, we journey together through this Advent season.

This time of year, people are decorating, shopping, backing & getting ready for their Christmas gatherings. more importantly, this week begins the Advent season... a time for us to prepare our hearts for the birth of our Lord and Savior. Join us this Advent season as we look at the Colors of Christmas, celebrating the coming of Christ. Pastor Dave will look at the color Red, reminding us of the blood that this Christmas child will one day shed for the forgiveness of our sins. We'll learn to assess, confess, repent & be transformed by God's love.

II Corinthians 9:6 says, "Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously." As biblical Christians, we want to understand how this works, why it works and how we can put this into practice. Join us as Pastor Rein wraps up our sermon series with his sermon called Gifted to Give.
