There are many things that can leave us feeling as if we're in over our heads or that there's no light at the end of the tunnel. When we go to Him in prayer, we will receive the power, strength and support we need for whatever we might be facing in life.

God is our protector. He is the Good Shepherd who takes care of His sheep. King David shares an amazing prayer for protection n Psalm 16. He doesn't do a lot of asking, but he mostly reminds himself of God's protecting nature. As humans, we all have different needs in our relationships. A marriage relationship is no different. Thankfully, God's Word offers help and direction to help us. Regardless of whether we are married or not, God's Word offers wisdom and guidance that can help us stay connected to Christ and, as a result, lovingly serve one another in a way that allows us to enjoy and honor those around us.

The Bible teaches us what we should spend our time thinking about. Instead of letting your mind run wild, or run on its own, God says we can take our thoughts captive and make them obedient to Christ.

God desires that we conform to Christ's likeness in every situation. It can be hard to always reflect Jesus at work, or in school, or at home, or in retirement. A relationship with Christ isn't something that should be confined only to the weekend, but that should flow over into our work as well as every other area of our life. As Christ-followers, we are called to use our work, or whatever we're doing, as an opportunity to live out our walk with Christ. Join us as we look at why you were created to work.
