We ring in the New Year with a boatload of news and great driver topics.  We talk road course drivers in Nascar, which leads us to talk of when drivers retire.  Supercross has started their season and they had a fantastic show.  Their numbers are going up, so what's wrong with Nascar? We have breaking contract news regarding a NJ driver as well.  In open wheel we get to talk about Karting in Daytona with some Top tier Formula 1 drivers.  We even get to discuss a Nascar Cup series driver and Emmerson Fittapaldi.  On the local side, several tracks are shaking things up, including our own Wall Stadium Speedway which has some great news for the coming year.  Evergreen Speedway has made a very important announcement regarding their January Enduro, then we talk about our setup for the 2018Motorsports trade show.  So much going on all over the place, you won't want to miss a minute!

This week we talk about dirt racing, from the new 3/8th mile track at Bridgeport in our local segment, and in Las Vegas for the K&N west series, and the idea of dirt road courses. Drivers unions take center point after the charter system and driver contracts have made a mess of thing, and the Tony Stewart case rears its’ ugly head yet again. In F1, a feel good story is shot down before could even get on the grid, while the retired Felipe Massa is all but retired. Sebastian Vettel complains that fans are complaining, and thinks that Formula 1 should be boring. Indy car has a few switch ups planned for 2018, mostly in the cockpits. In the local segment we talk about the new 3/8 mile track at Bridgeport, then we give a nod to the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club and our condolences on the passing of treasurer Paul Hayes. Eric gives a heartfelt description of the upcoming Matheny Christmas party this weekend. Then as always we wrap up with what we learned today.
