Record Store Day Black Friday 2025 is coming up on November 28th.

This week and next week's episodes of the podcast will shine a spotlight on a few of the featured titles from the Black Friday List, which is up now at RecordStoreDay.com.

This week, we welcome back "The Jazz Detective," Zev Feldman, and while of course he brought along some super cool jazz titles from Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Bill Evans, and Yusef Lateef, he's also branching out into blues with B.B. King, and even D.C. hardcore punk, with a historically charged release from Bad Brains. Honestly, we could listen to Zev talk about his projects for days.

And we'll play a sad train song for "Folk Hero" Todd Snider who passed away on November 14th.
