We talk to Michelle about her new role as the senior coach for the Dockers women's team for season 2017, and also about the two marquee player that the picked up this week.

We talk to Katie about her start in footy at age six in Queensland, her selection as a Marquee player for the inaugural season of women's AFL in 2017, her Darebin Falcons chance of taking out another flag this year, and her gym.

Saturday 23rd July see the women of Rugby League here in Australia square off in their State of Origin on the Gold Coast, they are a part of a triple header at the CBUS Stadium.

The Women' are playing for the Nellie Doherty Cup this match will be played at 3pm, the other match on the day including the Holden Cup and NRL clashes between the Gold Coast Titans and Parramatta Eels.

We talk to Maddie about her NSW team and it chance of breaking the drought as Queensland had won the trophy 16 consecutive times until 2014, before retaining it with a 4-4 draw last year.

Maddie did speak to us earlier in the year ahead of the Jillaroo's Clash with New Zealand in Newcastle.

Catherine has been shooting trap since she was 12, and is currently in Darwin training with the Australian Shooting team getting ready to head to Rio. Catherine has worn the green and gold as shooter at a number of events, including world championships, and the Commonwealth Games. She had her start in the sport in Mansfield and continued grow after moving to Melbourne, in 2014 she was named the female shooter of the Year. We speak about Rio and more.

RSN's Sporting Women - Victoria Shaw - Victoria is Australia's only female race caller, and she is a Melbourne girl. On July 17, Victoria, is going to be calling come of the card at the inaugural Celebrating Women on Track meeting at Healesville Greyhound Racing Club, the meeting will feature female trainers, handlers and of course Victoria. We speak to Victoria about the challenges of calling greyhounds as opposed the thoroughbreds, what fostered her interest in becoming a race caller, and more.

Simone is the head coach of the Australian Women's Baseball team the Emeralds, earlier this week Baseball Australia announce a deal with Boral as sponsors for the next two years which is fantastic for the team heading in to the World Cup in September. The team is currently ranked 3rd in the world, is the highest rank Australian Baseball Team. Simone Wearne was first female inducted into the Baseball Australia Hall of Fame in 2012. We talk about the team, the world cup and about playing baseball.

Stacey has been playing softball since age five, and is currently captain of the Australian Women's Softball team - 'Aussie Spirit'. The team is in prep for the World Championship later this month in Canada, she has been playing professional in Japan and for the last week she has been playing in the US proball competition with Pennsylvania Rebellion. We find more about our women's team which currently is ranked 3rd in the World.

Meg Hutchins was appoint by Collingwood earlier this year after she penned an letter offering her experience in the world of women's football after having spent many years playing at the until now highest level for female players her in Victoria. She has been a part of the VFL team at the Eastern Devils, and has pulled on the West Bulldogs colour's in their Exhibition matches. Now that Collingwood has secured one of the foundation licences for the Women's AFL competition for 2017, Meg will be a part of the team working to put together a team of 25 women made up from the 2 marquee players and 5 pre-signed player, the balance of the team will come from the draft to be held later this year. We speak to Meg about all of this and more.

We spoke to Emma earlier this year about her cricket Emma is a part of the WBBL playing for the Melbourne Star's, but she is also an elite level Women's AFL player, she plays for Melbourne University in the Women's VFL and for the Bulldogs currently at AFL level. We spoke to Emma on the afternoon of the announcement of the teams that had won the licences for the new competition in 2017. She is currently half way through the VFL season and has now started her pre-season training for the Melbourne Star's she is a very busy sporting person.

Maddy has been playing footy for over 10 years, and at only 21 she has a lot of footy ahead of her, she play for Melbourne Uni, and the Western Bulldog's, and is keen to continue as a part of the new AFL competition in 2017, like other players she has to wait to see who she will be playing for when the draft is held for the 2017 competition. We speak to Maddy about her start in footy through the current pathways, and she give us an insight in to what it is to be a VFL/AFL player this year.
