When you use a product or products for years, you take things for granted. Sometimes, you don't even realize that how you know how to do things? It's not the same for someone using a different platform...so when new folks start using new hardware...it's worth looking at some of those hidden gems.

This is where Jim and John come in, with their 5th Stray Dog covering a few "unsung functionalities" within our RUCKUS controllers.

And, this one was so good...it's going to spawn even more shows shedding a light on some lesser known, but very useful, tips and tricks!

In this, our 86th episode, Jim and John talk with Andrea Coppini, a RUCKUS SE from Spain. Andrea's name might not be well known, but the application he created certainly is well known in the RUCKUS world. Andrea is the creator of  Crossbreeder, a software application that helps RUCKUS administrators do a lot of really neat things.

Or, as he put it, he wants to be lazy, so he did a thing to help make things work faster so he can be just that, lazy.

Check this show out, and then take a look at the Crossbreeder application at

In our latest episode, Jim and John spend time talking with Eric Schroeder, who as it turns out...might not be so fond of wireless. Because, you see, Eric is a switch guy.

And while we all know wireless is easy because, you know...no wires...we actually really need good wired networks.

Which, as luck would have it, is something Eric knows and delivers on a regular basis, so it was good to have him on sharing his wealth of experience.

In our 82nd episode of the RUCKCast, Jim and John learn that they are dinosaurs, thanks to AI. Or, maybe they think like dinosaurs...but did dinosaurs even think? And since no one reads these...what kind of dinos ARE Jim and John...these are important questions.
But, in more serious news before the comet hits us, our Jurassic hosts are joined once again by Mittal Parekh to talk about AI until we go extinct!

On our latest episode, Jim and John are joined by Al Brown, CEO of SmartWAVE Technologies, a RUCKUS Partner. And why are the mutts talking to the CEO of one of our partners?

It's all about Wi-Fi 7 once again, and we get a partner's perspective about what's ahead of us for this new standard, and what they are excited about to provide to their customers. Except for the part where Jim excludes Al from the conversation to go off on some tangent. You know, Jim being Jim.
