Ed shares his journey from growing up loving arcade games and baseball cards in the '80s, working in IT and building custom arcade sticks for professional Street Fighter players, to his introduction into NFTs through NBA Top Shots and Atari 2600 cartridge NFTs. He then discusses his idea for Arcade.io, a platform allowing users to buy and play games using unique NFTs as 'keys.' Each NFT holds the top 10 high scores for that particular game, creating an interesting constraint for gameplay. Ed discusses how he strives to make NFTs more appealing and accessible to new users, but acknowledges the reluctance of most gamers to embrace NFTs. The conversation concludes with the hosts suggesting ways to enhance the gaming experience by linking the rarity of NFTs to in-game features.

Memepotz joins to discuss their project, which aims to bring Web3 closer to real world operations. He provides an example of a cannabis farm, where each cannabis plant is represented by an NFT. The project plans to integrate a proof of growth feature, where token holders have access to a 24/7 live stream of CCTV footage from the farm. This allows holders to monitor the growth of their plant and witness the proof of growth in real time. However, it is important to note that the project will not be involved in the shipping or distribution of the harvested cannabis, as this would raise regulatory issues. Instead, the project plans to provide unique rewards to the holders based on the harvest, without introducing a new token. The reward system will include a planned staking mechanism.
