A very, very special ep right here, fictioneers - it's our debutante guest spot! Joining us in the RumbleFic dungeon is Marc Swint, voice of Necalli in Street Fighter 5, Kiawe in Pokemon Sun and Moon, co-host of pop-culture podcast Dr Bear, and all-round stand-up motherfucker. We love this guy and so will you (or else!).

(His story idea's pretty good, too - a convoluted take on the retired contract killer pulled back into the professional underworld...)

You're really gonna like this one. Three words: Tito's first penance. Two more words: Owling Day. That's all we'll say.

On, then, to this week's story. It's back to Ruritania for a WW2-era thriller about the ultimate, fatal power of love. Can the boys make it up alive?

Regrettably, Lach was fasting when the boys recorded this ep and so there's a dearth of Scotch-fueled banter. Nonetheless, this ep's a real hornswoggler (look it up), replete with deep discussion of the human condition...and Tinder. Well, there you go,.

On, then, to this week's story: Lach has a Hardcore History-inspired (we love you, Dan Carlin!), uplifting tale of redemption in mind - set within a public execution. Well. There you go.

Right before diving back into their genial dissection of War & Peace (you're welcome, literature students everywhere!), Lach and T somehow manage to turn a delightful reminiscence of T's childhood wrestling fandom into a weighty rumination on the depths of sacrifice to which one might sink in the pursuit of grand dreams. Heavy.

Then we lighten it up again with this week's story - a breezy, Shakespearean romp of T's imagining concerning the toppling of a cult leader by his most devout follower.

This week it's all about organ theft, ceremony, Alan Moore, the necessity of struggle within the human condition, and - you guessed it - Scotch, Scotch and a lil more Scotch!

Then it's onto this week's story idea: Lach pivots to bring a very lean idea for his most despised genre - the slasher. Can the boys build it into a compelling yarn? And can they do it in time?

The boys dig in for a 2-hour+ debate on utopia, regulations, markets, philosophy, and the future of the human race! (Was there Scotch? Oh yes. There was.)

Moving briskly on, Tito brings a blistering idea to the table: set in the literary playland Ruritania, it concerns a condemned warden leading a ragtag group of his former prisoners on a run for the border to escape his own oppressive government. It's had Tito writer's-blocked for years - can the boys bust the block in time?

This ep's all about the finer things - whisky over podcasting, and eating your fellow man.

First, though, Lach and Tito pow-wow about friendship, Kim Jong-Un's ancestral corpulence, and the state of the Union (their thoughts will enthrall, endear and infuriate you, dear American listener).

On, then, to the meat and potatoes: Lach brings the devilishly delectable conceit of a cannibal chef slaughtering his way up the Manhattan food chain. Can the boys cook up a full story dish in time?

Shit-tonne of aural fun here, friends and neighbours. The boys wax lyrical about their distaste for The Lord of the Rings, shitcan people who still use cheques, and get into a cordial debate about the logical successor to democracy – the solution they finally agree on will shock you.

THEN - buckle the fuck up for a story-cooking session in which Tito brings an idea for a fresh twist on the creepy-small-town-with-a-secret trope! Can the boys do it this time?
