This passage could be translated: petition God with constant and unceasing determination. It is almost a dogged prayer. You will not give up or give in or stop. It is the no-surrender method of prayer. It is not on your knees all day every day and getting nothing done but it is the spirit of prayer active and present in you at all times.

It is as soon as someone asks for prayer, not resolving to do it at some later time but doing it right here and right now no matter where you are. This is a spirit of prayer that you constantly live in. Praying comes quickly and naturally, habitually, to this type of person. It is not work, it is not abnormal, it is not unfamiliar. It is a habit.
