As with any transition in life, we are filled with uncertainty, questions, doubts, few answers. That is where Joshua found himself. He was no longer a young man, he had experience and wisdom, and yet he was still uncertain with the transition.

Moses had been the leader for a long time, how would people respond to a different leader and different style and personality? Would they rebel? Would they respect him? Was he even qualified?

God is present in our questions and doubts. He doesn’t ask us to drum up the courage ourselves or to be fake and pretend like we’re strong. He is our strength. We are able to be courageous and strong, bold, unashamed, BECAUSE He goes with us.

God’s presence is the key. Remember His presence. Remember He goes with you. Take comfort and courage and strength in that.
