This week we are going to be looking at and discussing the Greatness of God. We will look at both descriptions of His greatness and how we are to approach His greatness. Today we ruminate on Hebrews 13:15.

What we see in this verse is a call to praise God. We’ve highlighted this point throughout this past week that God is worthy and deserving of our praise. What really sticks out in this verse is the word “continual.” Both the NIV and ESV use this word in their translations. Our praise is to be continual.

When we offer continual praise we are recognizing the Greatness of God because as we have seen God’s Greatness is “unfathomable.” So, then, why should our praises stop? They shouldn’t which is exactly what this verse is saying when it uses continual to describe our praise.
