David is holding nothing back, but seeking after God with all his heart. Are you holding a piece of yourself back? It is a challenge to give ourselves fully to someone or something…we tend to, out of fear or anxiety or lack of trust, hold at least a little piece back. But with God we have nothing to fear or worry about. He is fully trustworthy. He can handle the fullness of your heart. He can handle your mess.

Take some time to think hard about how you spend your time and live your life. Where could you begin treasuring God’s Word and pouring into it so much that it begins to be stored up in your heart to use in temptation and everyday struggles?
