Hey Everyone!! It has been a while since the last episode drop, but the pod is back! Spring season is upon us and races are happening every weekend. Ben and I talk about how 2023 is going for the both of us. We reflect on Chase the Throne. Ben talks about USATF half marathon. We finish it off talking about Stilly half where a few of us will be there hoping to have a solid race. 

In this episode, Kyle McKinley joins the episode and we talk about his journey from high school running all the way to post collegiate. 

Kyle ran at Heritage Hall. He goes on to OSU, but eventually made his way to OCU to run in college. In 2023, he has big goals. He goes into depth of how injuries have caused him to take multiple breaks an how he has learned to be patient. We dive into the conversation of super shoes and what his thoughts are.

I got the privilege to get OKC Memorial Marathon winner, Bryant Keirns on the podcast. He is coming off an amazing performance earlier this month at the California International Marathon(CIM). We talk about his progression of getting faster and faster each marathon that he does. He has got the hang of balancing grad school and running. Bryant ran at Oklahoma Cristian University under coach Miller.

Ben and I dive into the Route 66 half marathon from 2 weeks ago! Ben got the chance to ask me questions about how my running has improved in the last year. Listen to your body everyone!! On this week's episode I have Eric London. We dive straight into how the marathon went for him. He got 2nd place with a time of 2:39:59. Eric has come a long ways and the recent times show. Eric and I go way back and have many memories. Stay tuned as he talks about trail races and how the pandemic really got him into it. He talks about the ultra races he has done so far and how he wants to do a 100 mile race. I will attach Eric's Strava account.

On this week's episode I have Jake Bostwick joining me! Right away you will hear our 2 little girls, Blakeley  and Maddie. We talk about how we met back in 2016 and we ended up working together in 2018. Jake is coming off a 12 hour race. He finished 3rd place with 65 miles. First part I have Corbin Galt. Member of Oklahoma Project since January 2022. He finished State Runner up in Class 4A and is favorite to win the individual title next year. Time of 16:07. Improving his time from 17:05 from last year's state meet. 

Next, I have Cole Davenport. Member of Oklahoma Project since November 2022. He finished 21st in Class 6A. Time of 16:24. Improving his time from 17:46 from last year's state meet. Member of Edmond North State Championship team. 

Next, I have Andrew Pletan. Head coach of Edmond North, who are the 2022 state championship team. We talk about how the season went and how the boys cam together when it most mattered. 

Next, I have Kinley Kite. Member of Oklahoma Project since June 2022. She finished 8th in Class 6A. Time of 18:56. Improving her time from 20:03 from last year's state xc meet. 

Lastly, I have Josh Cherry. Member of Oklahoma Project since May 2020. He finished State Runner up in class 6A. Time of 15:37. With a short senior xc season, he ran his season best when it most mattered. In last year's state meet, he ran 15:30 and got state runner up.
