Darce catches up with Victorian ultra marathon runner Shane Gillard. Shane shares his story of weight loss and how it lead him to running. He takes us on his journey from life as a 188kg bakery manager to completing a 100km running event. Here it is. The offical (or not) 5 toughest ultra marathons in Australia.
Jimmy and Darce discuss what makes an ultra marathon tough and between them they come up with a list that they think ranks the top 5. This is highly contentious, contains loose as criteria and probably blatant disregard to some really tough ultras in Aus.
Once the Top 5 is settled, Jim provides some great information about a really important piece of work he is doing to help eradicate child exploitation through Project Rescue Children and Op Unicorn.
