In our first anniversary episode, Ben Kelleher speaks to Richard Whitehead MBE!
Richard holds the World Record's in the marathon and half marathon distances for a double amputee, as well as two Gold and Silver Paralympic medals. Plus, he’s raised hundreds of thousands of pounds for charity, by taking on endurance challenges, such as running the length of the country and through his own foundation too. In this episode, we find out how he made his way into running, the obstacles he's faced, while also considering his hopes and plans for the future...
Richard and Ben discuss Richard's work with Sarcoma UK & the Richard Whitehead Foundation, as well as Ben's ongoing fundraising for Cancer Research UK. Click the links to find out more and to support these fantastic causes!
