We all have gone through some struggles where we felt like we were completely alone, and that can be a scary feeling. Do you know someone who has a lot of stuff? They could be a collector of cars, watches, or even shoes, or maybe they just have a lot of things. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie reminds you to share what you have. Especially if you have an excess of stuff, and it can be used by someone else. As a follower of Christ, you should always be willing to share what you have. If you truly trust God with what you have, you give it to others who are lacking.

What do you do when you have leftover food? Do you get a box and take it home only to throw it out a few days later, or do you just leave it to be thrown away? As Pastor Eddie will explain, it would be better to give your leftover food to someone in need. Unfortunately, the tendency is to keep the excess and let it go bad. Any time you have extra you should consider giving it away because if you have and don’t give, you will be judged for that.

It can be hard to see people living and doing things that you don’t agree with. Your first reaction may be to judge their life or actions based on your thoughts and feelings. Today, Pastor Eddie cautions you to be careful about how you interact with others. You should share the gospel with others, in love, but you should never judge the actions or choices of others, it’s not your place, your job is to encourage others to get to know God.

How do you start a conversation with people you see? Do you have a go-to greeting, or do you just jump right into something you need or want? You more than likely start with some sort of “Hey, how’s it going, good to see you..” you wouldn’t walk up and start with, “I need…” so why start a conversation with God that way? Today Pastor Eddie points out how every prayer in the Old Testament starts with a greeting of adoration for God.

Have you ever had a boss or manager that you knew wasn’t going to give you any problems? You just knew when they were in charge it would be smooth sailing and you could get away with anything! In today’s message, Pastor Eddie explains how when you try to take charge the devil will not leave you alone. If you try to do things without first relying on God, you are making it easy for satan to come in and manipulate you.

Whenever there is a group of people, there will eventually be conflict within the group. It is inevitable that people will disagree with each other, and that will often lead to battles. What about the battles within your own mind? The Spirit of God within you will battle with your own desires, and that creates internal conflict. Today Pastor Eddie has good news, there is a cure for your internal conflicts and those of others, it's God’s Grace!

Have you ever stopped to think about what are your wants versus what are actual needs? Too many people think what they just want, are necessities; for example, you need water, but you want flavored water. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie explains that God may not be giving you what you pray for because it is a want and not a need. God already knows what you really need, and will give it to you when you ask.

Have you ever heard that saying of the angel and devil on your shoulders; on the one side the “angel” is telling you to do “good” and on the other, the “devil” is telling you to do bad. The “angel” is really the Spirit of God, and the “devil” is the flesh, or the world. As Pastor Eddie explains, the Spirit and the flesh are always battling for control of your mind or, conscientiousness. It is a daily struggle to decide if you will do worldly things or things of God.

The way God treats us directly shows us who He is. The same is true with us, the way we treat others shows them exactly who God is. We must be effectively and appropriately bearing the image of God to those around us! In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will remind you to be aware as you interact with His people, whether they’re kind or not, YOU still need to show kindness. You need to treat people as God has treated you…With unimaginable love!
