When we read the Bible if we're not careful, we can glance over some sections and think that they don’t apply to us. However, the Bible is clear that all scripture is God-breathed and useful to us, it just might take more than reading it over once at the end of the day! In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be sharing how important it is for a believer to be growing in the knowledge of the word. It helps equip us to do every good work that God has for us!

Religion had been established for a while before Jesus came. A lot of religion was based on the works that you were doing. If you did good, then God was happy and if you did bad God was mad. Jesus came to change the system. Now, if we are saved, when God looks at us, he sees the good work of Jesus! In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be sharing what it looks like to live a faith life that is not legalistic and dependent on our works!

One of the big problems that the early church had was legalism. A lot of it was carried over from the old way of doing things. Paul addresses this in his letter. People were adding other works to the Gospel to be saved. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be going over what it looks like to go to Christ for any sin. There is no sin that isn’t forgivable, except for the one you won’t go to him with. God has the grace to meet us with anything we bring!

Have you ever thought that the Church would be the solution to all the problems you face in life? The church is an amazing thing that God established, but we must remember that the church isn’t perfect. At times it will let us down and fall short. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be showing us that Paul was instructing Titus on how to fix these problems. While the church may not be perfect, we can have peace knowing that God is perfect.

One of the biggest things about Christianity is that we receive eternal life by Faith. It is not by works or anything that we can do to earn salvation or a relationship with God. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be sharing the importance of living by faith. If we put our faith and trust in Jesus and believe that’s all we need! We believe by faith, but then we can continue to live by faith in our day-to-day lives trusting Jesus with everything!

There was a time when the disciples talked about who would be Jesus’ greatest Disciple. Jesus made it clear that his way was a way of serving people. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be sharing about what it looks like to be great in the Kingdom of Heaven. Paul was a great example of this in his life. After he met Jesus, he dedicated his life to building churches and proclaiming the name of Jesus throughout the whole world, by serving Jesus.

Before Paul gave his life to the Lord, he was famous for killing Christians. He went out of his way to make sure that the people who followed Jesus would die. So, when the Lord appeared to him and he got saved, it would make sense that people were skeptical. In today’s message, Pastor Eddie will be showing us how anyone can be saved and transformed and made new! Jesus can change Paul’s life; he can change anyone’s life!

It can be easy to read scripture and see all of the amazing things that God did while skipping over some of the harder things. Pastor Eddie shares that we will have difficulties in this life, even with Jesus. BUT... if God doesn't change or remove the circumstances, He is, and will always be faithful to walk with us through the midst of all the turmoil. Aren't you glad we don't have to do it alone?

If you're like me, it's probably not your first instinct to jump to prayer when someone does something against you. Quite often MY initial reaction is wanting to “repay evil with evil”! Today, Pastor Eddie shares the example from Paul's letter to Timothy, and shows how when we love as Jesus loves, we can want the best for others, EVEN if they have wronged us. Let the love of Jesus come out as you pray for those that are harder to pray for.
