Many people have many good and encouraging things to say. But, when you're learning the Scriptures from any teacher, you need to make sure their interpretation of Them is accurate. How do you do that? Know The Scriptures yourself. Spend time reading Them. Ask God for wisdom in prayer. The only way to know someone more is to spend time with them and talk to them, and Pastor Eddie's going to show you today that it's the same with God.

Any teaching that takes away Jesus' authority or says He isn't God is false. Any teaching that says there are other gods besides The One True God is false. There is one God, The Creator of all the heavens and Earth, and through His Son's sacrifice alone is the only way into Heaven. You'll get to hear a strong warning from Pastor Eddie today to beware of any teaching that says otherwise because any other teaching is false.

No matter what family history or background you come from, it doesn't make you who you are. A lot of teachers say that you're no more than a product of the environment around you that shaped you. But, as Pastor Eddie's going to show you today, if you're a Christian, you've been grafted into God's family. You have His power and peace in you. Nothing that anyone in the world can say can take away how important and loved you are by God.

Never underestimate the impact you can have for The Gospel simply by working with other Christians to that end. If someone is over you in authority, or more mature in their walk with The LORD, learn from them. If someone is below you or isn't where you're at yet Spiritually, teach them and build them up. Today, Pastor Eddie is going to encourage you with the example of Paul and Timothy to work together for the advancement of God's Word.

One of the most fundamental ministries you and any Christian has is to simply share God's Word with everyone you can. Pastor Eddie's going to show you how big of an impact it made in the ancient temple of the false goddess Diane, to were idols made for her were even eventually thrown out. It can start with one person being faithful to live out the ministry they're called to, and that one person planting the seeds of revival could be you.

When you look at what an influence the Godly example of Timothy's mother had on him, you can know that it's true if you have children today, too. The example you set for them could set them on a path of seeking to know God intimately themselves. As Pastor Eddie's going to show you, that example keeps going forward. Timothy was a huge encouragement to Paul and to the churches he helped to grow, and it all started for him with his mother.

God is so gracious, but even He has His limits. We often think that God is endlessly compassionate, but the truth is, there are only so many times that you can deny Him before He denies you in return. Pastor Eddie reminds us in today’s message that our free will is without end; you always have the option of turning away from God. But if you do that, you can’t be surprised when Christ says to you at the end, “depart from Me, I never knew you.”
