We are back for our first episode of 2025! Fran and I catchup and talk about all the parkruns we each did over the Christmas and early New Year period, including a run at Malahide parkrun for one parkrunner’s 500th event. We also discuss our trip to Limerick parkrun including an interview with Amy who was volunteering on the day and is a well-travelled parkrunner herself. And finally, we also discuss our parkrun goals for 2025.

On our final episode of the season, Nevin travels to Glenfarne Wood parkrun in Co Leitrim on 28 June 2025 to complete his 100th different parkrun on the island of Ireland. After completing the parkrun, Nevin chats with Event Director, Liam, as well as Ann and two other special volunteers. In this episode, we also discuss the nearby accommodation at Clancy’s Hotel, things to do in the area after the parkrun and Leitrim’s other parkrun.

This week, Fran and Nevin head to County Tyrone on 10 May 2025 to speak with Run Director, Nick who invited us to attend the inaugural event of the stunning Loughmacrory parkrun. Fran and Nevin also reflect on an early start that same morning as they walked at Darkness Into Light in Malahide.
