The phenomenal actress took home the Independent Spirit Award for Best Supporting Female for "Passing," is about to open on Broadway opposite Daniel Craig in "Macbeth," and is set to star as the legendary Josephine Baker in a limited television drama series. At SCAD, we honored Negga with our Spotlight Award during the 2021 SCAD Film Festival, a festival that fell in love with her after screening "Loving" in 2016.
