As you've seen, Season 3 is dedicated to my father, Mike Jacox, who passed away late in 2021. I Love and miss you, Dad. Thank you, #CatchSitkaSportFishing and #ACMEHomes, for your continued support!!!
Today, we sat down with Ryan Murphy, the Executive Vice President for Bullhorn, a software company that services the B2B human capital industry. I had the pleasure of meeting Ryan months ago for their leadership meeting, and we immediately connected on many topics, including #fatherhood, which is why I'm excited about this episode. A huge shoutout goes to Leslie Vickrey, Kendra Cato, and Gretchen Keefner for making the introduction to Ryan for this episode to occur.
Ryan grew up with amazing parents that taught him and his siblings many great life lessons. They both taught him never to quit, and always see things through fruition, Additionally, Ryan's mother set the standard for standing up for women as he learned the power of diversity and inclusion early in life. His mom showed her grit and resilience by finding a way to go to college when the odds were stacked against her. These excellent examples would help teach Ryan the power of leadership later in life.
