We're pleased to bring you our first episode focusing on the development of girls lacrosse and the path to playing women's college lacrosse here on the Get The Lax Scoop podcast! 
Tom and Lynn Dwyer met while coaching lacrosse in England after Lynn had just graduated from Harvard and won the D1, 1990 NCAA Women's Lacrosse National Championship and Tom had just graduated from Brown and helped the Bears win their first ever playoff game. 
The couple has three daughters, two college age, both playing D1 women's sports at Cornell. Their oldest daughter, Lucy, plays lacrosse and their middle daughter, Rose, also recruited to play lacrosse and hockey, chose to play women's hockey for the Big Red.  Their third daughter, Grace, is in the ninth grade and the midst of the women's lacrosse and hockey recruiting process. 
In our interview, Lynn describes how she spearheaded a girls youth development clinic in their local area just outside of Philadelphia, PA, as the boys program began at the age of 5 while the girls program did not begin until 10 years old. 
 She describes how in that first season she hoped for interest from about twenty girls, what she got was two hundred!
Tom and Lynn both jumped "All In" and developed a coaching and skill development process, that continues to this day, and have never looked back.
