What happens when mankind tries to build paradise apart from God? In short, we create hell on earth. Babel is an anti-Eden account, a complete reversal of God's desire for mankind. Where we build our little sandcastles of success and security, God invites us into his eternal salvation and kingdom where Jesus reigns forever.
