If you have ever opened your Bible and didn't know where to begin, you are not alone.

It's pretty common, even amongst people who have been walking with Jesus for years, to still desire a simple pathway to move through the Scriptures.

If this sounds like you, then study the book of John with us.

Throughout the fall, Storyverse podcast is moving through the Gospel of John. This will look a little different then our Mark study. Instead of going chapter by chapter, we will be looking more thematically throughout the book.

So for you, simply take 2-3 chapters each week. Go slowly, drink it in, and before long, the entire life of Christ will open up to you like never before.

In Mark 15 and 16, we see the cross and resurrection of Jesus. The decisive battle and the decisive victory. This is the climax of his story and the human story: the sacrificial love of God manifested in the death and resurrection of Jesus.

In Mark 14 and 15, Jesus undergoes two different trials: one from the Jews, one from the Gentiles. This is meant to show us that the entire world has brought charges against God. And they collectively declare the same thing: guilty and worthy of death.
