STARTING YOUR DAY THE RIGHT WAY WITH DAVID IVERSON AND JAILBIRD JOEY ON THE INDEPENDENCE NETWORK!
After voting to bar photo/broadcast journalists from the halls of the House and Senate floors in the Wyoming Capitol, the Legislature’s Select Committee on Legislative Facilities, Technology and Process will reconsider the measure during its Thursday meeting. Credit has been given by WYOPILE to the Wyoming Press Association for applying pressure to reconsider the future Management Council policy, but we doubt Joshua Wood's WPA had nearly as much direct impact at the Independence Network did in bringing some sunshine and sanity to this measure!
A pile of proposed legislative actions cropped up in the Corporations committee meetings this week with aims to codify easier dissolution of foreign owned companies, LLC's registered to a person determined to be an adversary to America, mandated for providing verifiable information to registered agents, and language compelling registered agents to provide confidential information to County Assessors and Treasurers. Additionally, some legislators on the Corporations Committee want to allow municipalities to become power companies in direct competition with private industry, all at an additional cost to the taxpayer who will also be their mandatory paying customers!
