The scheme is a vital tool to help people with disabilities into employment, or support those who need extra help in their jobs because of deteriorations in their condition. 
RNIB Connect Radio’s Allan Russell spoke to Roisin Jacklin and Martin O’Kane, from RNIB, to hear more about the problems, the work being done to campaign  for change and what interim help the charity can give to blind and partially sighted people who are caught up in the system.
