Robert King is a Photographer and Digital Artist who challenges pre-conceived notions of what those living with a visual impairment can achieve.

Recently he received an honourable mention for his work at the Mobiography Awards 2021 and is currently working on a series which aims to convey the deterioration of his sight by combining self-portrait photography with medical scans and photographs. 

And of course, Robert joined our Paulina Kuchorew to chat photography and how you can create some amazing digital work just by using your smart phone.

Image: This colour photographic image is constructed using a layering technique. It consists of Robert's self portrait and personal retinal scans that have all been edited to simulate the distortion and visual anomalies that appear in my field of vision on a daily basis.
