With all the recent news about a new HRT product that once approved will be available over the counter at your local Pharmacy, for this week’s regular check in with Pharmacist Elizabeth Roddick from New Life Pharmacy in Glasgow, Connect Radio’s Toby Davey finds out from Elizabeth the truth behind the headlines.

Elizabeth began by telling Toby that the first she knew of the new HRT product as a Pharmacist was like everyone else through the news reports.

Elizabeth continued by sharing what she has found out about the new HRT product, who the new product might be for, what the new product service will look like once it has been approved, whether people still need to take HRT tablets alongside the new product and what might the timescale be after approval before the new HRT product is available at your local Pharmacy.

Elizabeth ended by reflecting on how much busier the Pharmacy has been in the last few months and of course over covid with more people visiting their Pharmacy for medical advice.
