The coming of age story of four girls at a boarding school, under the care of watchful housemother Mrs. Garrett, warmed our hearts and our television screens. Who can forget preppy, glamorous Blair Warner, brought to life for nine seasons by actress Lisa Whelchel? Lisa, a committed Christian from the age of 10, has gone on to have quite the journey over the decades, from marrying (and later divorcing) a pastor, to writing a number of Christian-themed books on family and parenthood.
