"Blackadder" is a British comedy that originally aired in 1983. It was created by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson with the concept of exploring historical periods and characters in a comedic and satirical manner. With each new series a different era is visited. Atkinson's portrayal of Edmund became iconic and helped the show become an all time classic in British television comedy.
